Pros 'select port' has encountered a problem

Like the title says I have started pros on 2 different os on (ubuntu 15.04 and Windows 7 64 bit) and on both of those pros keeps popping up and saying “‘Select Port’ has encountered a problem An internal error has occurred” and it will not download code to the robot any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi @robokiller, on Windows 7, can you open Device Manager and ensure that Vex Cortex is listed under COM Ports. On ubuntu, can you run


ls /dev/tty*

? Finally, are you running the latest version of PROS on Windows - the icon should look like this?

I actually have not seen that icon even after downloading 2b10 from Sourceforge is there a new download location?
