PTO or Not for rapid relay

Do you think a PTO will be used for rapid relay? If so then what mech would you use it on?

I am planning not to buy Pneumatics full stop. I recognise the importance of them but I feel that they are just so expensive especially as my team is a school team and thus do not get a lot of funding. However, I could see a PTO being used to maybe have a four wheel drive and swapping between the drivetrain and the intake. I don’t think it would be the most practical but I think it could work.

Something else

Btw you could have called this post “PTO be or not PTO be

I thought to use it as a shooter.

I think that could work but you have to keep in mind how you will get the ball into the scoring mech you want.

Pneumatics as a shooter? I think it could work, but it might not be as accurate as a catapult.
This season, I think that there will be a lot less use for motor conservation.
With a game like Slapshot or even full volume you might have needed to get creative with your motors, but for this, I don’t see a need
