Hey! We are really new team so forgive us for our ignorance. We are trying to find a Local Qualifying Event on Robot Events. However, for some reason, their is no filter for just Local Qualifying Events. For events when we scroll down to awards, none of them qualify for anything. It has been like this for every tournament we have found. Is there a specific filter we are missing? Is there something else we are missing out on? How do we find a qualifying event? We are Texas Region 5 if that helps.
Pretty much anything that says tournament will be a local qualifying event, same thing for leagues, you don’t need a filter (although you can by spots open or registration open). Not many tournaments will have the awards that qualify for state filled in yet as not all events have been posted/approved and spots allocated. But in Texas Region 5 you can expect Tournament Champion and Excellence to almost always qualify for state and sometimes if it is a really big event Design Award.
