Hello fellow vex comrades I have a question about something does an auton that works on the right red side work on the left blue side or does an auton that works on the right side only work on the right side I know this is probably a stupid question but I need to know because I have a competion on the 20th and I will not be able to go back to school until the 17th because of weather issues
Although your question is worded a bit weirdly, I think I understand what you’re asking
Generally speaking, an autonomous program designed for a robot starting in the same offensive zone as its alliance and a robot starting in the opposing alliance’s zone should function the same regardless of whether it is in the red or blue alliance, (e.g. a auton that functions for the starting position represented by Red Robot 2 should work for Blue Robot 1).

To answer your question, a close side auton will work for the closest side to your alliance station, and the same goes for the far side. Essentially what that means is that means is that you need 2 autons. One for the close side (if you’re looking at it from the side right behind your alliance’s robots, this will be the left side of the field), and one for the far side (right side).
