this is my team’s first year going to a signature event. how many qual matches do you play over the 2 days so we know what to expect?
It varies, your best bet is to go back and look at last year’s event and you can see how it went.

Like @Foster said, the amount of qualification matches varies greatly. It depends on where the competition is, how big it is, how many teams are there, etc. For example, the Hyundai SCORE Signature Event in Auburn, AL had 72 competing teams and 162 Qualification Matches. On the other hand, The Gateway to the West Signature Event in Triadelphia, WV had only 68 competing teams but had 170 matches. So even if there are less teams competing, there an still be more matches. Hope I could help! 
I’ve actually never been to a signature event officially. but I’ve attended Space City before it become a signature. Also, what signature are you going to, if I may ask?
Looking at the roster for Highlander Summit, I see you are coming to our event. We are aiming for 8 matches per team over the course of the two and a half days. The first day will be load in and skills time only. This is just a rough estimate because numbers can change on the day of the event.
