Question about Starting Position

Our teams had a question as to the starting position of the robot. Because a cube contacting the robot is considered an extension of that robot (G12d ), can you begin your autonomous with the preload touching the alliance wall and the robot touching the preload but not touching the alliance wall directly. Also providing you follow the rest of (SG1).

You cannot. G12d actually states that a cube in possession of a robot is an extension of that robot. Contacting a cube is different than possessing a cube. I hope this helps!

Edit: to clarify, I’ll use last year’s explanation of possession as referring to the balls and caps. An object is in your possession if it turns with you when you turn.
