Questions on spme rules

Hello, so we were being held for more then 5 seconds, and the ref did not call it they said “it is to be expected” confused if there is anything that allows that. Also what counts as intentional damage. And I was very very confused over lifting rules, as the ref disallowed our teammates lift because his arms were touching the edge. Thanks!

Could you possibly send a sketch or photo? If you were against the match load bar it’s not a pin. Please explain more throughly with a sketch or image

You should read the definitions section of the manual. Holding is defined in general definitions, Elevation (what I think you mean by “lifting”) is in the game specific definitions and covers details such as contact with the perimeter (“edge”).

You might also look down the Quick Reference Guide at the beginning of the manual, or do a text search of the manual for holding, intentional damage and elevation.

The definitions and rules might seem like a long slog to get through, but individually, they are quite brief. Holding is a sentence, 3 bullet points and two notes. Maybe ten sentences. If you do a search for what you want, the answer will be short.

Just to be clear, it can be counted as a pin if you are against the match load bar (i.e., being pushed into it and trying to escape without success). The key is whether or not you’re trying to escape from the pin.

I have looked quite a bit it mightve been the quick refrence guide I looked at I will look again though

So, let’s start by going through one item at a time. What rule (please include the rule number) do you want to talk about first?
