Re:Competition Template Bypassing Autonomous Function

First off, sorry if this has been asked, or is the wrong forum. We have a competition tomorrow, and I need to figure this out fast.

My school has two robots. The first one is working fine, and we have a pretty good autonomous. The second robot however, is inexplicably bypassing the autonomous function of the crystal competition template.

We have tried everything we can think of.

Important points (or at least, what I think is important):

*]Master Code is version 8
*]Code is going straight into operator control
*]Code that works on the first robot is still bypassed on the second
*]Code, when put into operator control function, works (not debugged, but that’s not the point)

*edit: We have discovered that waits on this robot are also acting screwy. A wait of 150 is working normally, but a wait of 1000 is hanging the program up indefinetly. Is it possibly a problem with the microcontroller’s timer?

Obviously, if you have any questions, just ask, and I will do my best to answer them. If anyone can help us, I would be much obliged. If not, hopefully someone at the competition tomorrow will be able to.

You are using the same Master Code and User Code on both Vex Controllers??

So if one Controller works fine, and the other does not… That would indicate a bad Vex Controller…

Master Code being version 8 is fine for use with the Crystals.

When using Crystals, the Timers are critical in moving from Autonomous to Operator Control. Since the Timers seem “strange”, I would guess that this is the reason that the Autonomous Mode is failing…
