RECF New Team Grant

I will be starting my own team next year and I was wondering how the RECF grant works and if anyone ever applied when they started their own team/ was it successful?

I am assuming as part of a school -

These grants are intended for schools and organizations that are not currently participating in one of our programs: VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition (VRC), and VEX U. VEX IQ Challenge grants are for elementary and middle schools (grades 3-8). VRC grants are for middle and high schools (grades 7-12).

So you must be apart of a school to apply for the grant?

That can be answered by your RECF Regional Support Manager - but sounds like you need to be part of a formal organization - that can be clarified by your RECF RSM.

You can do it as a robot club

awesome and have you had any success with getting your grant appealed or is it usually difficult.

I didn’t do it personally, but a team down the street did. They just emailed the local RECF rep and let them know then filled out the grant.
