This year one of our teams earned our schools first World Championship invitation. Most of the students on this team are 8th graders and will not be continuing with the 71610 program.
I was wondering how others recognize teams that have qualified for Worlds, or plan on honoring teams that qualified this year but are unable to attend?
Could schools set up a video link and participate in a real live competition just as they would in a real event. It would still allow kids to compete and show off their work. I’m not sure if every school would be on board but it’s an idea. No awards, no official stats, just a solution to a problem.
