Hey, umm I sent in an email to the support people, but I want to get an answer soon since I’ve been trying to upgrade our VEXnet system for a while. I have dont the syncing thing a few times and it links fine, I updated the firmwares via the new RobotC 1.97B and loaded the new competition template with code that works on a crystal system. Then I hooked it up to our competition field and when it connects the VEXnet light is green as is the Competition light but the robot light is red. The voltage on the battery is fine (I checked a few times) and the code works… I also tried to look through the forum but all I found were answers like email me at [email protected] or call ###-###-####. Does anyone have a solution to my problem? The competition is in three weeks and we want practice using the VEXnet system since the competition is VEXnet Only.
Is teh Robot Light SOLID red or fast blinking red?
The fast blinking red robot light means the BACKUP battery is low or missing.
Did you check that one?

Its a solid light.
i think my club had the same problem.
it turned out we had just master code 8 not the wifi version
make sure you have the wifi version which has been renamed master code 9

i hope thats the problem.
if it isn’t, i have no clue
It works better (but it was because we didnt have the battery backup installed) but when we load code and stuff it doesn’t do anything. It works fine with crystals (and all the lights are green and the vex net is connected) but when I try using the competition stuff the robot sits there and pretends it has no code. Any thoughts?
