Redistributing weight

Hello all, i have a relativly simple question, we have a 4 turbo motor u shaped drive, and 90% of the weight is in the lift, out wheels on the front of the drive are slipping , is there a way to redistribute the weight better, or to stop the wheels from slipping or use the front two motors on the back? Thanks for help in advance

Does this mean that your weight is on the rear of the robot? I cannot tell from the description. Do you have a picture?

I can post a picture aeound 2:30, but yes all the weight is in the rear due to the lift its especially bad when the lift is raised

use a high strength sprocket and chain to connect all of the wheels together

That won’t help if his problem is the robot tipping(That sounds kind of like it’s the problem :P).

You can add a power expander and battery to the back i.e. extra weight. If you don’t have one already.

If you are using pneumatics, I recommend that you put your tanks to counter your weight. You should also check out some threads on anti-tip mechanisms on the forum.

I would try positioning your towers slightly more forward than your back wheels (if they are not already like that). It will also slightly help with the tipping problem.

I have an idea, it’s kinda hard to explain, but I will make it and take a picture once I get home

We had the same problem in our first match. We had a sprocket and chain system, but they weren’t moving. We switched to two drive motors to solve our problem.
