If a team has a robot that is designed to have parts removed or replaced as needed, does the robot need to be reinspected each time those parts are changed? For instance, rubber wheels are switched out for omnis, or a claw of one shape or style is replaced with another.
Let’s assume that during the initial inspection the team shows the inspector all the possible configurations. The robot is sized and inspected for each configuration and there are no issues.
This is up to the inspectors at the event. If all possible configurations were approved during the initial inspection, it is much more likely that they wouldn’t require a reinspection.
