Releasing Pneumatics

In Robokauz’s mid season reveal, around https://youtu.be/jD-ZuIfMb6A?t=623, they talk about how they had the pneumatics “released, so they didn’t use up air”. Does anyone know how to do this? I assume it’s through code, but I’m not sure. They keep mentioning that they have two solenoids, so I assume that’s part of how you do it, but I don’t know if it’s a physical thing or coding thing I can do. We’re going to be using a lot of pistons on our next robot, so we need to figure this out so we don’t waste tons of air.
