I know that the VEX Robotics system has the default operational control modes 12 and 23. I read through the Inventor guide and understand the steps one needs to take to make them operational. However, I am still having trouble getting them to work.
I do have an EasyC program that I wrote and downloaded to the microcontroller, and I am wondering if the presence of that program is preventing either of the default modes from working.
Yes, your custom program has replaced the default behavior. You can restore the original behavior if you download the “Vex default firmware” the same way you downloaded your program. If you need a copy of the vex-default-firmware.hex file, it can be found on the downloads page (under Support).
