Anyone has a better way to connect these 2 beams without having that whole white piece sticking out? I need them connected in the same orientation as pictured. Does Vex IQ not have an angle connector like that or am I missing it?
Here is where you can find corner connecter pieces that don’t stick out. Sadly vex doesn’t let you pick and choose what parts you need, but the parts I’m assuming you want are here.

There are other connector pieces that are triangles that do the job
You could try using the same piece, but 1x2, rotating it 90 degrees and using the blue connecter to connect it.
This piece will probably help you.

You want two of these, flat side to flat side, held together with 0x2 pins. It’s about as strong as you can get.
I do this all the time, it’s pretty solid.

That’s the cool part, BYOC (Build Your Own Connector). Don’t forget about “Shaft Extenders” they also work well on the corner connector pins to extend them into different spaces.
The connectors shown above are awesome, they could also make your corner too.
