So I was at a tournament today and when I got my notebook back I found some rips in the notebook. This isn’t new as there was one before that I fixed. But I never saw these and I checked the night before. If a notebook judge rips a page is that a violation? If so what would my next steps be?
A violation of what? Have you seen something in the guide to judging that I haven’t?
What’s your next step: I would suppose you get some Scotch tape and fix the rip. It was most likely just an accident.

As stated above, I highly doubt accidentally ripping a little of a page when turning it is a violation of anything. Unless the page is about to fall off because of a rip, I doubt you should do anything except fix it.
