Robot Feedback

This is my teams second year together and I was wondering if someone could give us some advice. The intake on our robot is really weird were it will work 90% of the time but that 10% the rubber band will go onto the axel and our intake won’t work. Sadly our school doesn’t have pneumatics so I was also wondering how well a single motor could handle a wall stake mech. Based off our design we think its possible but wanted to get some feedback first. For our wall stake mech we plan on building a platform for the rings to sit on coming off of pic #6. We also plan on changing the dunker and intake when our flex wheels arrive.
