Our team is having problems with our robot flipping over during competitions and we can’t find a way to help ourselves when we do tip over. Does someone know of a method to help us get up? We have a basic crunch bot body and we added instead of just having the two motors on the bottom we added two more to help us move faster than we already would.
The unmodified Crunchbot has a very small drive chassis. The
easiest most effective thing to do would be to enlarge your wheel base.
adding some form of anti-tip would be helpful. I believe you should have room on a crunch bot to add these without any deploying mechanisms, try having some free-spinning wheels sticking out on the front or back of the robot (whichever way it’s tipping)
