Robot seemingly possessed...

Hi there-

We have a robot that the wheels spin madly on their own while in driver control mode. When you first turn the robot on the wheels do not spin, you can move forward and backwards fine but if you try to turn the robot left or right the wheels bring it back to center (facing forward again) and then continue to spin. It differs between a fast spin, slow spin, moving in any direction.

We’ve tried to reboot the motors and reboot the brain. When we X out of driver control mode the robot stops moving.

Any ideas?

I think that if a gyro is plugged in when running Driver Control, that the program will try and return the robot to its original orientation. Try disconnecting everything from the brain, except for the motors.
