The IQ robot is not recognizable when it is placed on the floor or field. If the student holds the robot, it will connect to the computer and allow her to download, but when she places it on the floor it disconnects. We have tried multiple USB cords and nothing seems to work. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
If it’s not the cords, could it be the ports at either end?

I have no clue. It has something to do with the wheels touching certain surfaces.
Do you have a different brain to test? Or a different computer?
Why do you say it has something to do with the wheels? Have you swapped the wheels for other kinds of wheel?
