I can’t seem to get RobotC ver. 3.51 and a PIC controller to communicate. I have manually downloaded the driver by clicking on the link on the right side of the RobotC program start page and no luck. Windows 7 knows that the PIC is connected but it can’t find the driver. I did change the platform type to the pic.

Please check to make sure the correct COM port is selected in ROBOTC by navigating to the View → Select Communications Port option.
If the correct port is selected, what error messages (if any) appear when you try to download firmware/programs to the controller? Also, what are the status lights on the robot? Any additional information you are able to provide us can only help the process
