RobotC Encoders not resetting

Up until now, my previous code listed below has functioned properly for resetting the value of our encoders to zero, however, it now does not perform this. lft is the name of the encoder to be reset. There is no error shown.

SensorValue[lft] = 0;

What non-zero value is it setting the encoder to?

Are you sure it’s not getting set to something else later in the program or somewhere else in a loop?

You could post your entire code and let the forum have a look.
