I get “Cannot communicate with VEX Cortex SlaveCPU. Master CPU communication is working.” error every time I download code over vexnet. I have to re-download the firmware every time just to get it to download once. Any Ideas why this is happening?
It’s hard to say what may be causing your specific issue. Make sure all firmware is up to date. Make sure the VEXnet keys are firmly plugged into the joystick and cortex. Other devices using the same 2.4GHz radio spectrum may interfere with communication, WiFi networks, microwave ovens, cordless telephones. Perhaps try downloads in a different environment and see if anything improves.
