This is a general question, is there a way to get RobotC for Vex Robotics on Linux? If I use wine it says my computer is not adequate for RobotC. Please comment if you know how.
So using wine it is possible to get to compile but I have not heard of anyone using wine getting ROBOTC to download to a robot.
That’s correct. Using Wine to install RobotC off of an MSI will get you basic features like text editing and compilation. Most of the UI doesn’t work (for example, you can’t use the “Open File” button), but you can use your File Manager to right-click on a file and do “Open With > RobotC” to open a file. In addition, COM ports aren’t working correctly with Wine so you can’t download code to a robot.
