robotC Virtual Worlds qualifies for VEX Worlds?

I don’t know if I am imagining things but in the past could you qualify for worlds by programming in virtual worlds? If you could, is it still a thing? Can someone share a link with info if so? Thanks

If you look on the online challenges page, the last challenge is the Robomatter VRC and VEX IQ Challenge Programming Skills Challenge for Robot Virtual Worlds. The challenges don’t open until September 13th, so not all the information is out.
