RobotC won't attempt to download the code

For some reason when I try to download the code to the Cortex, RobotC will just open the window with the progress bar for about half of a second, then close it again. Nothing else happens. No code gets downloaded, there is no error displayed. All of the firmware is up to date, as well as RobotC.

The strange thing is, this only happens if I am attempting to download the code through VEXnet. If I plug the computer directly into the brain, the code downloads just fine.

Any advice on how to fix this?

It sounds like just a glitch. While the firmware may be up to date, manually updating it (as opposed to the automatic download feature you most likely are using) and then rebooting everything might solve the issue. Try that, if it doesn’t work it may be an issue with your wireless download cable.

That’s not it, I always use the manual updater. But it isn’t the cable, because it works with our other joysticks. IT only doesn’t work with ours.
