Are you trying to update firmware? If so you have to use the USB A-A cable (double male) plugged into the vexnet slot to update.

Do you have the firmware installed on your computer? I don’t think it is necessary but it is found here: http://www.robotc.net/download/cortex/
then you need to restart robotC

I also just saw your picture again, it looks like it is requesting admin permissions (in the task bar)

sorry I meant drivers :-D. it doesn’t because it doesn’t know what bit (32 or 64) your computer is. Just install the correct drivers and you should be good.

Did it ever work before on your computer?
Try a different USB port on your computer. It sometimes helps.
