RobotEvents is stuck in the Cold War

The Cold War called and wants its Communist countries back.

Please remove extinct countries like USSR, East Germany, etc.

This is also a problem because they do not have a listing for newer countries, like Kosovo (disputed), or South Sudan (not that I imagine many teams will be coming from South Sudan, but maybe)

What I would guess is that when the developers were creating the dropdown, they just sourced a list of countries (maybe from an outdated U.N. document) and automatically created the select

Few other notes:

• Macedonia should have (FYROM) appended to it because the official United Nations name of that country is Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

There are plenty of items on that list that are not countries recognized by the U.N.

• Western Sahara is a disputed region controlled by Morrocco
• Antartica, like you mentioned
• The Vatican is not the member, technically the Vatican’s seat in the U.N. is granted to the Holy See
• Greenland is not a sovereign country, it’s a constituent country of Denmark
• Svalbard and Jan Mayen are regions in Norway
• All of the U.S. Islands and regions that are separate
• The Faroe Islands are part of Denmark
• New Caledonia is a part of France
• Aruba is part of the Netherlands
• Hong Kong and Macau are autonomous regions of China
• The Cook Islands are parts of New Zealand
• Chrismas Island (yes, this is real) is part of Austrailia

And so on…

I meant that it was funny that they would include Antarctica on the list, not that it isn’t a country lol
