<RSC5> Clarification

As per the Game Manual:

Any red Ring Scored above a blue Ring on the same Stake will not have a point value.

Does this mean all red Rings scored above a blue Ring on the Stake have no value, or is it only the red Ring directly above the blue Ring?

I think it refers to all red rings above that blue ring. If you ask the question: is this red ring above this blue ring, it makes it seem like the rule applies to all rings above a blue one on that stake. The intention of this rule is to encourage a descoring mechanism so I don’t believe they would make the rule only apply to one rings and I’m not sure why else blue rings would start on some of the stakes.
Hope this helps!

There is no such statement in rule - the rule is clear ANY red Ring Scored above a blue Ring on same Stake will not have a point value. So if I put a Blue ring at the very bottom of a Stake, then all the red Rings placed on the Stake will receive no points.

“any key” = “any red ring” … kind of the same concept… (but on the computer don’t press the power key! It’s not just any key)
