The game manuals say that you can use any rubber bands that are identical in length and thickness to those included in the VEX product line (#32, #64 & #117B). But I measured the official VEX rubber bands and the #32 & #117B don’t match the standard sizes.
Standard size for #117B is 7" x 1/8". The VEX rubber bands measure 7" x 1/4". This is the standard size for #170 rubber bands.
Standard size for #32 is 3" x 1/8". The VEX rubber bands measure 3 3/4" x 1/8". This is a bit longer than standard #33 at 3 1/2" x 1/8".
Is this is a mistake in the manuals? If we use non-VEX rubber bands, should they be #32 and #117B as listed in the manuals? Or should they be #33 and #170 to be identical to VEX rubber bands?
