Great experiment to have and write the details down in your engineering notebook! Judges love that kind of stuff.
Remember, there are only three sizes of rubber bands that are allowed by the rules. See < R7 > if you don’t know the sizes offhand.

I use both on my flywheels, it really just depends on the size of your flywheel. If you have a bigger flywheel, use thicker rubber bands, and if you have a smaller or skinnier flywheel, use thinner rubber bands.
