Rubber links on new gyro?

The title says it does the new gyro need rubber links?

I would assume no as it only has one hole to screw in (using a rubber link would probably make it worse).

The reason people use rubber links is to isolate it from all the vibrations on the robot. It can be attached to the robot without them, but will be much less accurate.

You can use more rubber links by mounting it on a c channel

Yes from what I’ve seen of the new sensor, the circle that sticks out is meant to be mounted directly to the hole of the metal. Mounting it on one rubber link, would make it really imprecise, the new sensor is probably designed with a dampening system built in.
