Rubber String

Hi

Would something like this be allowed? CARTMAN 1/8“ Marine Grade Elastic Cord Crafting Stretch String, 10kg x 100ft, for Camping, Kayak Deck, Crafting Black Color - Amazon.com
I have looked at other posts about this but I don’t know if this is a situation like the nylon screws.

Yes, under the current set of rules, it would be allowed, seeing as it’s technically string/cord.

This would be a good q&a though. Might I ask what you’re using it for?

Was thinking instead of rubber bands for hood or whatever needs rubber bands this will last longer and retain tension for longer which means less tuning every match. Would ask qna about but I don’t have my account for teams and it would probably take to long to answer anyway. But I should be fine if it use it right?

Should be fine. You can always use latex tubing instead of rubber bands though (but I don’t know much about it - just that it acts like a rubber band).

Tried latex but even stretching it with hundreds of pounds of force cutting and doing whatever you can think to it still lacked that rubberband elasticity

Yeah then in that case use your cord.
