There is not a rule against going over the bar as long as no other rules are broken in the process. However, I personally would not advise this because it seems very inefficient.

As far as I can tell, there is no rule prohibiting a robot from “jumping” over the barrier. The only things I would keep in mind are that any robot trying to go over the barrier cannot grapple the barrier (ex., react with more that three sides of the bars), and also probably shouldn’t sit on the bar, as this could violate S1 as it could potentially damage the field.
