I am from team 1138 and I have a question about the robot virtual worlds online challenge. The program I wrote for the challenge has the robot go up to the match loads with a mobile goal in its claw and tilt the wrist up, thereby causing a cone to stack onto it. However, I noticed that when this happens, the tip of the goal goes through the plate that holds the match loads. Is this is legal or is it a bug that will be patched later?
Hello Team 1138, thanks for the question.
Using this strategy would be illegal based on the rule: “Any Player intentionally using glitches, hacks, or exploits in the ROBOTC or RVW environments to obtain a higher score than would normally be possible is subject to disqualification from the competition.”
Thanks and good luck!
