We recently attended a competition and was told after running the autonomous that our team scored 34. The judge did not have the students sign a score sheet. Once we were home and checked the results we were listed as scoring 18 points. Shouldn’t there have been scoring sheets for the students to sign stating what the scores were? Also the results showed us as being behind the winning team by only 2 points. So the 16 points would certainly have made a difference.
Some events will use scoring sheets while other events will use electronic scoring on phones or tablets. Some events will show the score sheet / device to the teams for verification, while others will not. This is an event by event decision. Teams are always allowed to as the Head Referee for clarification on a score that they think is incorrect.
