Secondary vex robotics website

Would anyone here be interested in an all vex robotics website, i am talking about a website where you can access plans, images, videos, and 3D cad models of every robot that is on the website, as well as forums ect…

I have a webhosting subscription

It is awesome
5 Terabytes of monthly bandwidth
500gb of storage

But it is $20 to add another domain name.

So if i were to create another website would anyone use it? Because i cannot create enough content on my own.

I would need many people to pitch in and write articles on how to build mechanisms and robots ect… as well as upload pictures and videos.

Well this is just an idea so tell me what you think.

In my opinion, the forum that we have right now has everything that you mentioned and i do not believe that it would be fun to spend your valuable time (a lot of time) making something that is already made. :wink:

i suggest if you want to add content to vex, join as a writer for the vex magazine, we need writers!

I think your idea would be great. I also agree that the forum part of vexforum is superb. I would suggest getting the admin to modify the forum, maybe everyone take a poll on it so everyone has a say in the changes.

I do not think that another website would be nessessary, but I do like the idea of CAD models of every robot. On the other hand, making CAD models takes a lot of time.

Join as a writer for the Vex Magazine!
