I am exploring the option of a defensive robot and I have a few questions on the rule SG6:
- If I had a robot with a concave “U” shape chassis, would it be legal for me to push the opposing allience’s mobile goals?
- If I had a gate that could be lowered on the front of the “U” shape chassis turning the “U” shape into a “0,” would it be legal for me to push the opposing allience’s mobile goals within my robot
- Is it legal for me to slide part of my robot under the opposing allience’s mobile goal in an attempt to lift said mobile goal?
- Is it legal to store the opposing allience’s mobile goal on your robot?
- Is it legal to place a box that surround the opposing alliance’s mobile goal on all sides except the bottom of the mobile goal?
- Is it legal to lower a square around the opposing alliance’s mobile goals. This square would not grasp the mobile goal, however, the square would fit loosely around the mobile. If the robot drove away, the mobile goal would be dragged with it.
The attachment below is a sketch of the mechanism described in question 6.
