I have seen many teams use catapult for shooting the ball. But, what if we use flywheel to shoot them?
This looks like a 1/2 formed question. If you can get a flywheel shooter to work, go for it. It would be possible, there are larger tires to work with the large ball. There are flywheel weights to help keep the spin going from ball to ball.

Fairly new to Vex but curious how you get enough RPM out of a vex motor to make a shooter? The motors don’t seem powerful enough to be able to gear down enough for a high RPM.
I would use two motors, one on each side and gear them up. I’ve built shooters in the past, but to be honest, they were smaller hard sided balls.
They were stacked gear sets, 12x60 – 12x60 – 12x60 to get enough speed. Max RPM on the motors is 100 RPM.
Should take you about 30 mins to build a quick test frame to see if it’s possible.
