We are a “VEX U” team from México. We always made our engineering book in our language, Spanish.
Does my team have questions about if in the world’s competition, we need to translate our engineering book to English to have better results in our judging process?
Is not the first time that my team has qualified for worlds. We always translate our engineering book into English, but we need to spend time translating our current pages and adding content to our engineering book.

You should. VEX worlds I believe had judges that are predominantly English-speaking. There may be some who speak spanish, but I would translate your notebook if possible.
Try speaking to VEX Worlds about this, as they will give you an accurate answer (I’m not sure who the event partner or email is for this Could someone post it here?)
: If the Engineering Notebook is written in a language that is not common for the region, it is the team’s responsibility to provide the original language version along with a translated copy, if any Judges fluent in the original language are not available. This should be brought to the Event Partner’s attention as early as possible so they can inform the Judge Advisor.
I would suggest you reach out to recf (probably through your TEM) and ask.
This is just my speculation and not at all official, but I would assume that your probably fine with not translating it as judging is done virtually and there is likely enough demand from Spanish speaking teams. Spanish also isn’t exactly an uncommon language in Texas either.
In fact, when registering for online judging time slots, there are several language options, with Spanish being one of them. With several Spanish-speaking regions attending worlds (Mexico, Spain, Colombia, etc.), I would say it is safe to assume that there will be enough Spanish-speaking judges so that you don’t have to worry about translating it. Besides, Spanish is a very commonly spoken language around the world; it would be a travesty to the Spanish-speaking teams at VEX Worlds if RECF did not accommodate their language needs.
