I was working on a simple Tray Slider yesterday, and I came up with a pretty decent and easy to make solution that adds 2 additional cubes, while not taking up a ton of space.
I almost finished mounting it this morning on my bot, but I don’t have any pictures. I will get some soon after I get it finished.
looks good. you may want to look at putting grease between the rail and the 1x. also something to think of is instead of the standoff for a stop use a shaft with spacers it will probably be easier to release and you may want to try to find something other than a 1x to hold it as the 1x can bend easily especially with constant weight applied. other than that its quite a clever and simple way to make a sliding stage
