Could someone explain to me what is a “Skills challenge” for middle school teams. What level of programming is expected?
You get one minute to score as many points as you can on an opponentless field where all the cubes are considered the same color, it’s the same thing for programming skills except you have to pre-program the bot to do it.

I expect that my MS teams will hit 60% of the second highest score of the HS team at combined event. There is always that HS team that has a jaw dropping run (thanks tech tigers for yours today). That has the other HS teams in a cluster a little farther back.
I expect that my up and coming MS teams can hit 60% of that cluster on a regular basis.
