We are currently preparing for the “Over Under” Skills Challenge. I have a question regarding which template is recommended for this challenge. Could someone please advise me on the most suitable template to use for the Skills Challenge in VEX V5.

Use the normal competition template. Programming skills will run your autonomous section for 1 minute, and driver skills will run the user control section for 1 minute.
I’m not quite sure what you mean when you say template. You should use the competition template but I have a feeling you might mean a library. I personally do not like libraries and they are only legal if you completely understand how they work. That said the available libraries will depend on whether you are using vexcode or PROS. For vexcode, you have the jar template and for PROS you have EZ-template, OkapiLib, ARMs, and probably a couple more I don’t remember of the top of my head.
We went to file, then opened Examples. And then selected one of the block templates. That’s where we weren’t sure which one to select.
So after we select the normal competition template, we still have to configure the code, correct?
