Is there a way to adjust the slew rate in JPearman’s Smart Motor Library? I think I found it but I’m not sure.
void SmartMotorSetSlewRate( tMotor index, int slew_rate = 10 );
SmartMotorSetSlewRate( port5, 25 );
Is it the bigger the number the slower the acceleration? Also would we put these in Pre Autonomous functions?
The slew rate is the step size per time slice. So bigger numbers allow more jumps per time slice which means more acceleration (up to what the robot motors physically allow).
You can put them in pre-auton or anywhere really.
