Solenoid Location

Where is the best location to have the pneumatics solenoid? Closer to the reservoir or closer to the cylinder?

Closer to the reservoir or closer to the cylinder?

Keeping the line from the solenoid to the air cylinder short will save air (although only a bit, because the tubing is so small).
