I recently got 6 Vex Spin Up Discs, and here are the weights:
Disc 1: 67g
Disc 2: 64g
Disc 3: 66g
Disc 4: 58g
Disc 5: 63g
Disc 6: 64g
This might create some issues/randomness for competitions or auton. What is everyone’s thoughts on this?
Shouldn’t be that much of an issue. There are chains on the high goal so there will be some margin of error allowed when firing.
The manual specifies an error of plus or minus 10 g. Those are all within the acceptable bounds just due to manufacturing variances.
