Spin up match load rule

Hello I’m a one person team and I was wondering if my alliance partner is allowed to help me with the match loads and put them onto or near my robot during a match. I feel like its sort of not fair if I’m completely not able to use them, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one man team in the world so anyone got any idea?

Not sure are you referring to Over Under or Spin Up (which was last season game).

But either way, match load belongs to the alliance, so yes - the alliance partner will have access to the match load as well, and hence they can help to load.

Welcome to the forums! For any gameplay rulings, the game manual has all the answers, but in this instance, the manual says nothing about alliance partners helping you match load, so that means it is absolutely legal. Whenever the game manual doesn’t mention something, it is almost always legal. Btw, you tagged this topic for “spin up” but the current game is “over under” so I assume you are referring to over under match loading.

Of course having your alliance match load your robot is legal, but here’s my un-asked-for advice: get a teammate or two.

It doesn’t have to be someone who loves robots or even someone who will build or program or notebook. Just find a friend, maybe a younger sibling or someone at your school who likes robots. Get them to come with you to competitions and load your match loads for you. Double the fun since you have a friend and you don’t have to worry about teaching your alliance how to match load your robot before every match.
