Starstruck Virtual Worlds Rules Clarification

In the virtual worlds rules, it says that the player cannot take advantage of glitches or exploits. My question is if the robot is purposely programmed to launch stars outside the field so that they are repositioned, would this be legal?

Thanks!

No, this would not be legal. As part of winner validation, the judges will run the submitted code in order to reproduce the student scores. If the code requires external input or non game-play behavior to accomplish the score, it will most likely invalidate the submission.
