In the Official VEX V5 rulebook, the orientation of the Mobile Goals at the beginning of the match is positioned so a flat side of the goal is parallel with the positive and negative sides respectfully, and the flat side is not facing either team’s side of the field. If at the beginning of the match can I force the field re-setters to position it to the correct orientation? If it is not positioned correctly, my Autonomous program will not work, and therefore thro the chance for Auton win point. Is this something I am allowed to do prior to the beginning of the match or not?
You can’t “force” them, but you can ask them nicely and cite the game manual they’ll fix it for you.

I’m not really sure about this. In Over Under, you can manually change the setup of the game elements in the corner prior to the start, but I’m not so sure about High stakes. I thought the layout is fixed, so our team just decided to make the clamp able to grab the MoGo from any direction. Hope this helps!

Q&A 2076 specifies that teams may request to adjust the orientation of the mobile goals if they are significantly misaligned, but should design their robots to accommodate minor variations.
